It seems (to me) that those on the "right" side of the aisle (Republicans, Conservatives, whatever they're calling themselves this week) take the approach "if we tell the same lie often enough, people will think it's the truth". This is my modest attempt to counter that approach. Comments are welcome, but make sure you check your facts. My goal is to promote truth-based, intelligent debate on important issues. Something that seems to be sadly lacking amongst the people in power in our country.
Due to a sudden surge in hit-and-run, unsolicited, unrelated comment entries to the blog, I have turned "Moderate comments" on in the blog settings.

I'm a husband, a father, an American, and (I hope) a patriot. I believe in BOTH the Ten Commandments and the first ten amendments, and I don't think they are mutually exclusive. I am a liberal and proud of it. After all folks, the founding fathers were not only liberals, they were radicals. If they hadn't been, all you conservatives would still be subjects of the English crown. Stick that in your patriot act and smoke it!

Thank you for your positive comments on my ISG post. I don't post nearly as often as you do, mostly due to my self-imposed ten year rule but the ISG report most definitely cleared that hurdle. And, of course, your comments are always welcome. It was nice to see that someone reads my blog other than me!
Someday you will have to share your voodoo secrets with me regarding how you track your blog visitors. It might come in handy in case I actually get some.

I don't know if you have ever seen this but here is the LGF prayer which appears just above their "Add A Comment" area:

It made me think of you and your recent brush with troll-generated unpleasantness.
